Natural and wild Tea workshop with Mr Kao in August

We are very excited about this wonderful upcoming event.

A friendly tea workshop for real tea lovers. Mr Kao is visiting Scotland and is holding a wonderful tea workshop in Perthshire at WindyHollow TeaFarm.

Here is a little info about Mr Kao and his work.
In pure nature and high up in the hills about 90 minutes outside Taipei lies Mr Kao’s wild tea garden. Here about 300 years ago his ancestors planted tea and throughout all these generations tea has been made by his family and now by Mr Kao himself. Mr Kao is known for his wild tea garden and his fully natural approach to tea farming. Plants are part of the whole ecosystem and animals and other plants welcome around his tea. In fact, in his view they all add to the very unique and special taste of his teas and keep them fully natural.
Mr Kao makes a beautifully roasted green tea, a wonderfully fruity and light white tea, a delicious black tea and of course his signature and highly priced Oriental Beauty.
We are delighted that Mr Kao is visiting Scotland and joining us for this very special tea event. We have also organised a translator and you will be able to ask all the tea questions you always wanted to ask.
During the workshop Mr Kao will introduce us to natural tea farming in Taiwan and will share many aspects of his work during the growing and making tea season. We will of course also taste his wonderful teas and he will teach us how to taste and prepare tea. Do join us for this special event.
Vegetarian lunch included.
Come and join us, it will be great 🙂
